Club History and Information

The DePaul Inline Hockey Club was founded in 2005. In its first season, the team competed in a men's roller hockey league in Mt. Prospect, IL. The team finished the season strong, finishing second place overall after being defeated in the championship game.

As of the 2006-2007 season, DePaul has become affiliated with the NCRHA (National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association). Competing in the Midwest Division, DePaul will face-off against schools such as: Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Northern Illinois, and Purdue.

The club is gaining popularity and interest on DePaul's campus. Interest and membership in the club has grown past the capacity of one team, thus the 2006-2007 season also brings the addition of a second team which will compete in a men's league.

The club is open to any interested player, regardless of skill level. A tryout determines which players will play on the travel roster. Those who do not make the travel roster will have the option of playing on the local roster and are welcome to attend practices and other club events.
